Learning objectives

What the syllabus expects you to be able to do.

  1. P3.1.1Set up apparatus, follow instructions and collect enough data over the widest range, repeating where appropriate.
  2. P3.1.2Measure with common laboratory instruments, including timing many oscillations.
  3. P3.1.3Record raw data to consistent precision in a single table with quantity/unit headings, and calculated values to justified significant figures.
  4. P3.1.4Plot graphs with suitable scales, draw best-fit lines or curves and tangents, and read gradients and intercepts (including false origins).
